Artists Beth Cullen-Kerridge

I am a British sculptor. I trained in Fine Art at Liverpool John Moore’s Art College before studying bronze at the Royal College of Art.
I honed my craft working with esteemed sculptors including Edwardo Paolozzi, and on sculptures from Elisabeth Frink, to Alberto Giacometti, before going on to work for and be mentored by the great modernist sculptor Sir Anthony Caro. With Caro, I worked on large-scale projects, working with Sir Norman Foster on the Millennium Bridge, Richard Rodgers, The Tate Gallery, and working on shows at the Venice Biennale and Marlborough Gallery New York, and the Baptistery Chapel of Light Bourborg France.

In 1994, I became the first artist to be presented with a commission for the Napoleon Garden Sculpture exhibition in Holland Park. My work was subsequently shown in two of the further London parks.

In 2010, I travelled to Carrara to study marble carving with local artisans.

In 2017, I received the Global Art Award for Sculpture for my Dhow Sail commission for the Dubai Opera House.
