Jayne Elliott is a painter based in West Cornwall.
She is focused on capturing the essence of a moment or emotion on canvas. And the work has a sensitive tone.
Both ephemeral and captivating, her paintings are fuelled by a joyous love of art, poems and stories. Painting out of a studio just a stone’s throw from the sea, she is inspired by the landscapes around her and this is reflected in the textures found in her work.
Born in Wales in 1959
Moved to Cornwall as a child and is based in West Penwith in Cornwall, where she lives very happily with her husband and little rescue dog, Alfie.
