After months of fitting out the new gallery in Marlow, which was designed by Valentina and Victoria at Spratleys Architects and completed by Whitman Building Services we finally opened the gallery on 1st September, with a really good fun, not-so-private viewing, seeing about 200 guests consuming 1,000 canapés and far too much champagne.

It was particularly nice to see many of our exhibiting artists bringing their friends and family.

The next day we officially opened, a bit groggily but excited to be here and open to the public.

Although we have lived and loved living in Marlow for 30-odd years we have been overwhelmed by the goodwill shown to us by visitors and other shops on the High Street, including Clarendon Fine Arts and Nova Fine Arts - which some would think were rivals, but we are very different galleries. It's also lovely to see one of Tracey Hayden's pieces hanging in the local Fullards Jewellers.

So a big thank you to everyone who made it to the opening, to everyone who has supported us and of course to all the lovely people who have taken an original piece of work from Hayden Gallery into your homes.
